As of this year, Glenn Jacobs has eliminated over 40 other wrestlers from various Royal Rumble matches. Incredibly, the man has competed in 18 Rumble matches, the most in history. Jacobs has entered not only as Kane, but also as the 'Fake' Diesel and Isaac Yankem D.D.S. His first Royal Rumble appearance was in 1996, and he's been a stalwart of the bout ever since. It wasn't until 2001 that Kane made Rumble history however. During that match, he set a record for most eliminations in a single outing. Previously, the highest number of wrestlers eliminated by a single performer had been Hulk Hogan in 1989. Kane would better Hulk's record of 10 however, throwing 11 other entrants over the top rope in 2001. Steve Austin had also eliminated 10 in 1997, but Kane would beat everyone. Even comedian Drew Carey was hurled to the floor during the dominating display. It wouldn't be until 2014 that Kane's record would be broken. At the 2014 Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns managed 12 eliminations, but Kane established himself early on as a force in the match.
