3. Reborn Again

In the years following his unmasking, Kane renewed his feud with the Undertaker and even held the World Heavyweight Championship. Unfortunately, as the years went on, the character again became stagnant. After disappearing from television for a number of months due to an injury, strange vignettes began airing for Kane€™s return. The video packages hyped not just the return of the Devil€™s Favorite Demon but pushed his €œresurrection.€ The new Kane made his return on the December 12th, attacking John Cena during Raw€™s main event. Kane€™s new look consisted of a redone stitched outfit with an all red mask covered by a large metal facade during his entrance. Despite the new look, the €œresurrected€ Kane was akin to the original Big Red Monster. Shortly after his re-debut, however, Kane quickly reverted back to being just another big guy on WWE€™s roster. He continued to dominate many opponents but failed on numerous occasions to topple the big stars, like John Cena.
