10 Most Improved WWE Wrestlers Of 2014

By John Canton /

5. Charlotte

Charlotte, the daughter of two time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, is arguably the person in NXT right now that has the brightest future in WWE. A lot of wrestling fans thought that her match with Natalya at the May 2014 NXT Takeover event was the best women's wrestling match in WWE history. That's saying a lot because of how many good women's matches there have been, but they went all out for 17 minutes and truly had an absolute classic. It was at that point, when she first won the NXT Women's Title, when Charlotte really got the attention of the WWE Universe. A lot of people assumed she would do well because she's the daughter of Flair and she was a very skilled volleyball player as well. It's just that we didn't know how great she was going to be. What's amazing about Charlotte is that she's only been in WWE developmental for less than two years. Unlike a lot of people in WWE, she had no experience before that. She's really become a very good in-ring technician while constantly improving in the areas of promos, charisma and just showing that she belongs out there. It's expected that Charlotte will be on the WWE main roster in early 2015. She should be. Not only that, but she should be in the Divas Title picture quickly. Whether that happens or not, we don't know. Keep your eye on her because the Nature Boy's daughter has proven in 2014 that she's going to be a big deal.
