Whatever picture is painted of Vince by all of us who know him, there is one thing that we will all agree onVince loves his daughter to the ends of the world. Aside for WHO he is, their father/daughter relationship is very traditional. I think part of the reason that I never went back to the WWE in 2002, was because of the spot that Vince had put Stephanie in once I upped and left the company. Basically---he put her in my spot. With her steering the creative ship, ratings started to falter a bit, and I never held Stephanie responsible for that. I always felt like those around her who she was depending on at the time---were flat our just not delivering. So here I come to save the day, only issue is that Stephanie would now be my boss. How was that going to work for all parties involved? The answer is simple---at the time it wasnt, so at the end of the day Vince stood by his daughter to protect her perception, and once again I gained even a greater respect for him.
