3. 'In The Very Beginning, I Told You I Was A Snake'
Continuing on the same theme as that previous point, this was the beginning of Jake's legendary heel turn in 1991. The Ultimate Warrior was the first to feel the wrath of heel Jake, as Roberts assisted Warrior in his attempts to understand the darker side of things only to reveal he had been working with The Undertaker all along. It was masterfully done. Here, Roberts tells the story of the rabbit and the snake. An amended version of the story of the scorpion and the frog, in many ways the promo and story is a microcosm of Jake's WWF run. He came in to the company and told everyone that he was a snake. The fans didn't really listen, and they took him as one of their own. When he eventually showed his true colours they were shocked, but they shouldn't have been. Jake was a snake from the very beginning.
