9. Booker T And Batista Feud On TV... Then Brawl At Promotional Shoot

Put your money on Booker.

One of WWE's money feuds for SummerSlam 2006 was a World Title showdown between Batista and 'King' Booker. On TV, the pair were booked to detest one another, but T was reportedly getting rather sick and tired of big Dave's inflated ego behind the scenes too.

Things came to a head when both men convened to shoot a SummerSlam commercial before the big pay-per-view. There, tensions boiled over and staff were forced to try and separate Batista and Booker to stop them from tearing lumps out of each other for real; that cannot have been fun.

Most eye witnesses later confirmed that Booker got the upper hand, and could easily have battered his soon-to-be challenger. Thankfully, this fiction-turned-fraught situation calmed down enough that Booker put Batista over come SummerSlam and everyone moved on.
