With WrestleMania drawing near, WWE fans know that one thing is inevitable - The Undertaker is returning. While The Phenom was surprisingly active last year, he hasn't been seen since Survivor Series, where he celebrated his 25th anniversary with a win over The Wyatt Family. There's been a lot of speculation as to who The Undertaker's opponent will be this year - names like Braun Strowman, John Cena, and Sting have been brought up, discounted, and put back into contention. Still, judging from recent photographs of The Undertaker that have been posted online, the legend is in great shape and he'll be more than ready to compete against any opponent. While it is possible that The Undertaker will make an appearance at Fastlane, it's not likely - he usually makes his pre-WrestleMania returns on Raw, and given that WWE higher-ups are probably holding out hope that John Cena will be able to meet Undertaker at the show of shows, The Phenom will probably be held back until Cena's status is known for sure. In a couple of weeks, medical staff and the creative team should know if Cena will be able to wrestle, and then they can proceed with a storyline for The Undertaker.
