10 Last-Minute WWE Great Balls Of Fire Rumours You Need To Know
4. Heath Slater Joins The Miz-tourage
Last month at Extreme Rules, The Miz defeated Dean Ambrose to win the Intercontinental Championship. Since then, their feud has continued, though it can't end soon enough - the program has seen men in bear suits attack Ambrose, grandfather clocks destroyed, and all manner of nonsense.
In the chaos, though, Miz found two new underlings - former Social Outcasts Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel, who have joined the IC Champion as his "Miz-tourage" (they probably didn't spend much time thinking of that one). To even the odds, Ambrose has recruited former Smackdown Tag Team Champions Rhyno and Heath Slater to serve as backup.
At Great Balls of Fire, Ambrose and Miz will square off again, and despite the certainty that Dallas and Axel will get involved, they probably won't pose much of a threat to Ambrose, who can dispose of them easily. What ends up costing "The Lunatic Fringe" the match, though, may be a turn by Heath Slater.
Slater would fit right into the Miz-tourage, as he - along with former partners Dallas and Axel - was part of The Miz's Marine 5 film. Plus, the team with Rhyno seems to have run its course, as Slater's daughter probably got her tongue transplant by now.
