The proverbial Beast from the East was arguably the most agile big man in the history of the business. The 64, near-400 pound behemoth often performed cartwheels upon entering the squared circle, and would frequently finish his opponents with a top-rope moonsault. Like Vader, Bigelow was a performer who had great success outside of the Federation. He periodically competed in Japan, and held gold in both World Championship Wrestling and Extreme Championship Wrestling -- he held the ECW World title on one occasion. Bam Bam came close to success in 1993 when he reached the finals of the inaugural King of the Ring pay-per-view tournament. The big man lost, however, to fan favorite Bret The Hitman Hart. Bigelow also competed in the WrestleMania IV tournament to crown a new WWF Champion after the title was vacated due to Andre the Giants controversial surrender of the gold to Ted DiBiase. Again, Bigelow was unsuccessful in his quest.Despite his lack of title reigns in the WWF, Bam Bam headlined WrestleMania XI. The infamous main event saw Bigelow square off with NFL linebacker Lawrence Taylor. Unfortunately, Bigelow was even unsuccessful in this endeavor, suffering an embarrassing loss to the non-wrestler.
