Three hour Raw is too long. We all know it. The reason WWE does it because USA Network wanted them to, so they paid them more money and since WWE was already doing two hours they figured they might as well do it. Why turn down money, right? Due to three hour Raw, the product has suffered. In the summer of 2012 when they moved to 2012 full time the shows were better. Now they feel repetitive and boring. That's because they keep doing the same 20 minute promo to open the show, then we get matches that happen far too often and way too many recaps of things that happened earlier in the show. It's just a mess. They should have known better. Three hour Nitro was a failure that was one of the nails in the WCW coffin because they had a tough time producing good content. Just because the fans loved the show at two hours does not mean they want to sit there for another hour watching the same thing. There comes a point where there's too much and with WWE producing so much other content, the current fanbase is getting tired of it. Even Triple H said they should go to two hours on the Steve Austin podcast and he's an executive in the company.
