10. Make The Mid Card Championship Feel Important

The United States Championship has had its ups and downs. John Cena reinvented the belt through his open challenge in 2015 While Dolph Ziggler destroyed the credibility of the championship by relinquishing it in 2017. Now should be the time that RAW starts establishing the belt as a top prize, however they've done the opposite.

Bobby Lashley looks good with the belt. An athlete of his calibre deserves to have a good run with the title, but he has been marred by bad finishes and disappointing feuds. His rivalry with Matt Riddle has been painful. Unfunny comedy and damaging matches have made Lashley look like a weak champion, which is not what you want for his character or the belt.

Big E over on SmackDown has been having great match after great match. He has been taken to the limit by both Sami Zayn and Apollo Crews. These storylines have great characters and gimmicks revolving around them, making their quest for the Intercontinental title even more compelling.

A lot of work needs to be done to fix the US Championship, but taking a leaf out of the IC title book would be a start.
