Some people will hear the name William Regal and conjure up memories of unbelievably superb technical matches with many of the biggest names in wrestling. For others, you will think of the rubber faced, quick witted, WWE Raw General Manager. Some fans, who have read his book 'Walking a Golden Mile; will know of the struggles that he has had and how hard he has worked to overcome them. For younger fans - and those with access to the WWE Network - you will know him from his work as a commentator and on screen as a wrestler and General Manager of NXT. I know him as a softly spoken, thoughtful man who is only too willing to share his experiences. I have had the pleasure to interview William Regal twice. Once, via a connection/third party in WWE's offices and once by telephone at his home. Each time he shared many of his memories and stories, as well as insights into this thoughts on the crazy industry we call professional wrestling. William Regal has seen, and done, it all in the industry. Some of the things we will look at in this list will surprise you. Some will amaze you. And some will make you appreciate the man for the British wrestling legend that he has become. And here's one for free. He's not called William Regal. Or Steven Regal for that matter.
