10 Live Observations From WWE EL Paso

3. Roode And Ziggler Have The Match Of The Night

People often question exactly why Dolph Ziggler is even still with WWE, given his fall down the card over the last few years. However, the simple answer is that he's still a great wrestler and one of the company's most reliable workers.

At WWE El Paso, Ziggler was pitted against Bobby Roode, one of the company's biggest rising stars at the moment, and the two put on what was undeniably the best match of the entire event. It was probably the longest on the card and, given both men's in-ring reputation, almost every second was great.

There was hard-hitting action, massive bumps, and plenty of false-finish drama, with Roode even kicking out of two Zig Zags and a superkick. And Ziggler added to the match by playing up his heel persona to the crowd without going over-the top.

Roode ultimately picked up the win, and the fact that both men turned in such a great performance for a house show bodes incredibly well for their upcoming PPV match at Hell in a Cell.
