Regal would have four reigns with the title, coming in at fourth on the all-time longest reigning champions list with a combined 557 days. This also makes him the longest reigning champion of the WCW Television Championship era. His longest run with the Television Title was also his first, and was bookended by two legends of World Championship Wrestling, Ricky Steamboat and Larry Zbyszko.
