Many wrestling fans love Triple H and the ways in which he has made innovative decisions to develop and modernise the wrestling industry. Whilst other people hate The Game and see him as a jealous, attention seeker who doesn't like to see talented colleagues surpass his popularity. However, regardless of how anybody feels about the Cerebral Assassin, the fact remains, he is not going anywhere for a very long time, so the WWE universe need to at least come to terms with his presence. Triple H has always been friends with the right people within the wrestling industry, which has regularly allowed him the benefit of offering his wisdom on what he considers to be best for business. Long before any intimate relationship with Stephanie McMahon ever developed, he was a part of The Kliq, a gang of guys that had major backstage power within the WWE. The Kliq were the bane of many other wrestlers within the company throughout the 90s and both Bret Hart and Bam Bam Bigelow have openly spoken out about their hatred for the group. Over a twenty year period, Triple H has climbed the ladder as far as becoming the Executive Vice President of the company and therefore has power that now exceeds most people associated with the WWE. A regular criticism of The Game is that he has used his influence to hold talented wrestlers back and/ or featured himself in storylines that were perhaps better suited to his fellow employees.
