Speaking of Matanza, the main reason behind his imprisonment is the murder of the family of the luchadora known as Black Lotus. The story is that Dario Cueto's brother did the deed, which was seen by El Dragon Azteca and Gory Guerrero. It is hinted that Black Lotus was old enough to remember, and in the first season she turned up in Cueto's office looking for Matanza. Lotus was subsequently captured by Chavo Guerrero and The Crew, and locked up by Cueto.
