But three years later, the man known as The Undertaker wrestling Brody woud've been a big deal. Of course, Bruiser Brody passed in 1988, but the fact that The Undertaker had the opportunity to learn some of the skills of Bruiser Brody is actually important to Calaway's portrayal of The Undertaker. When watching Brody's style, there are clear comparisons to The Undertaker, and as much as people believe The Undertaker to be singularly iconic, there are some obvious legends who influenced Mark Calaway's (also) legendary run, too.
