10 More Terrible Wrestlers With One Incredible Match

When much-maligned WWE wrestlers FINALLY had a match worth remembering.

Boy, this is going to be a polarising list.

Pro wrestling is stacked with men and women who work an endless string of top-notch matches. Bryan Danielson, for example, goes above and beyond to ensure that every bout he works is worth your time. The same could be said for Becky Lynch, Kenny Omega, Roman Reigns and more.

None of those workers could be considered "terrible" wrestlers. That's a subjective term anyway - some reading this won't agree that the performers included are actually awful, and that's fine. However, it is true that they only produced a handful of gems throughout their careers, and only one was truly remarkable or stands the test of time.

That's why there's no room for The Ultimate Warrior. He was originally here, but was disqualified upon realising that matches with Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage were fab. No, wrestlers had to hang their hat on just one single match to meet the criteria here.

The rest of their careers? Meh, you'd take it or leave it for the most part. That's not to say that all of their matches were sh*te, but only one was incredible.

10. Ezekiel Jackson (vs. Christian)

Event: WWE Royal Rumble 2010

Ezekiel Jackson's WWE career was already hitting the skids before he suffered a few serious injuries that benched him for extended periods. Fans viewed the ECW muscleman as just another tanked up Vince McMahon pet project who lacked the necessary skills to click long-term.

That was true, for the most part, but not at the 2010 Royal Rumble. There, Jackson ran into Christian - the inspired ECW Champion dragged big Zeke to a wonderful opener that temporarily made it seem like William Regal's man had a bright future. He'd go on to become Intercontinental Champion afterwards, but never really had another match that good.

The bout with Christian sticks out as the exception, not the rule, in Ezekiel's WWE run. Nobody else could squeeze as much from him, and so Jackson's prospects faded once it became clear that fans weren't actually that into his muscles, The Corre or anything else the company tried.
