3. Kennel From Hell

This was a quintessentially Vince Russo idea, in that it was brain stem dead. 

What, bro, is better than a cage match, which is automatically better than a regular old boring catch-as-catch-can? 

A match with two cages. 

At Unforgiven 1999, Al Snow and the Big Boss Man wrestled a match within the ‘Kennel From Hell’: the old WWF blue bar cage housed within Hell In A Cell. The twist? 

Snarling dawgs were trapped between the cages, baying for blood. 

At least, that was the idea; in reality, they were tame, only marginally less horny than Jerry Lawler a mere few feet away, and busting to piss n’ poop. They posed no threat to Snow and the Boss Man, and nor did Snow and the Boss Man pose a threat to one another, since they basically spent the entire, quite literal s***-show climbing the cages. 

It was an atrocious execution of an unworkable idea that anybody not named Vince Russo could have foreseen being terrible.

Never work with children or animals - or Vince Russo, who’s dumber than both.
