3. UFC 56: Rich Franklin Vs. Nate Quarry

Going into 2005's UFC 56, many fans took a particular interest in Nate Quarry.

Having competed on the first season of The Ultimate Fighter, Quarry was the first contestant from The Ultimate Fighter to get a shot at one of UFC's prestigious championships..

Unfortunately for Quarry, it was far from his night at UFC 56.

Challenging UFC Middleweight Champion Rich Franklin for his title, Quarry found himself on the receiving end of a first-round knockout. And not just a first-round knockout, but one of the most brutal, impactful knockouts seen in UFC history.

Even to this day, that left-hand shot from Franklin is enough to send shivers up your spine.
