Installed as the man to chaperone the massive Andre The Giant around the place throughout the 80's, Tim White also appeared as a referee. Working right up until 2002, White was sadly unable to continue his duties after colliding with the steel mesh during a Hell In A Cell encounter between Triple H and Chris Jericho at the Judgment Day Pay-Per-View. Trying to ignore the pain, White was almost unable to make the three count to finish the bout, due to the intense pain his shoulder was in. Unfortunately, this spelled the end of the man's career as a referee, although WWE did try to keep him busy doing other things within the promotion. Working backstage would have been fine, but the writing staff had something else in mind entirely. At Armageddon in 2005, Tim White apparently attempted suicide doing a pre-taped segment. Obviously, the skit was in poor taste, and many were furious due to it falling just weeks after the death of Eddie Guerrero. It was a sad end for the long-serving Tim White, and definitely sits in the category of being one of those angles WWE would like fans to forget.
