Another evil move to come out of All-Japan, the Ganso Bomb is a move that has only been used on three occasions. The Ganso Bomb/Kawada Driver is a piledriver/powerbomb hybrid, where the giver delivers a standard piledriver while dropping to his knees. There really is only one way to take this, and this is straight on your head and neck. Did Kawada mean to deliver the move as it turned out? Was it a botch as a result of a miscommunication? Given how certifiably insane Kawada and Misawa were, and how determined they were to pop the live crowd, odds are it was intentional. The Ganso Bomb has never been attempted in mainstream American wrestling before, although Rick Rude did a sort of version of it on the Ultimate Warrior in the early 90s. However, that was clearly a botch and, luckily, Warrior took the move on his back, not on the front of his face.
