Victim(s): CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Kane, et al. AJ Lee in 2012 went from relative irrelevance to the main event of Raw in about three weeks flat. As future-husband Punk himself put it at the time: "She was given a sliver of an opportunity... and she kicked the damn door down." This storyline was highly regarded at the time and remains so to this date and it's all down to the performance of AJ Lee in a role which could easily have been rejected. Going from man to man, kissing them at will, wearing their gear and proposing; AJ manipulated all three of them to her whims and manipulated the WWE management into making her the biggest diva in the business. There's a lot of subtext to this whole storyline, particularly as Punk and Lee would later become Phil & April Brooks and a strong duality to real-life events. AJ seduced three men on screen with her gestures. She seduced a world-wide audience with her performance. She seduced WWE Executives with her subsequent merchandise sales- the highest of any diva in WWE history. In this sense, AJ is the greatest manipulator of recent times. She decided to make everyone love her... and she succeeded.
