The eccentric Kwee Wee was one of the most unique characters displayed during the latter part of WCW's existence. Allan Funk was the man behind the kooky gimmick, one which dressed all in pink and had a highly original hairstyle. Blonde locks stood tall, and it was difficult to know how to take the guy. In truth, WCW's creative team didn't really do a great job of letting people know whether Kwee Wee was a heel or babyface. Aligned with Paisley - played by Sharmell Sullivan - the wrestler was introduced in 2000. Part of the Cruiserweight division, he'd never actually bag the belt, but would have several title matches. A lot of fans didn't really know what to make of the character. Later during interviews, Funk revealed that the character was never supposed to be considered homosexual. Apparently, that's why Paisley was there, because she was actually Kwee Wee's storyline girlfriend. Nonetheless, few fans enjoyed explaining to non-wrestling buddies what was going on when the quirky gimmick strolled onscreen.
