2. Bret Hart Gets Closure On Owen Hart Situation

When Bret Hart returned to WWE in 2010, it was groundbreaking to see him make peace with Shawn Michaels. For years, bad blood had dominated their relationship, largely stemming from the events of the 1997 Survivor Series, when Vince McMahon, Michaels and others conspired to remove the WWF Heavyweight Title from the waist of Hart. Sure, burying the hatchet with Shawn was huge, as was a potential match between Bret and McMahon at WrestleMania XXVI, but there was one other moment that seemed to resonate much more with the technically excellent grappler. Delivering a promo mid-ring about how delighted he was to be back in the WWE mix and see his fans again, Hart made mention to his long-departed brother, Owen. What followed was one of the most vibrantly emotional moments in wrestling history. As the fans chanted Owen's name, Bret opened up his trademark leather jacket, exposing a t-shirt he was wearing which had a picture of both he and his sibling. Eyes started to well up, and Hart later said during interviews how pleased he had been to honour his brother - who had tragically passed away at the 1999 Over The Edge PPV - in this fashion.
