One of the great things about pro wrestling is how fan-friendly it can be. In the end, it all comes down to the fans (thats us) regarding who gets over and who doesnt. Oh, cynics can bleat that Triple Hs workout buddies get preferential treatment (and this is certainly true in some cases), but ultimately, it still falls to the WWE fan collective to give their final seal of approval to a rising star. If fan opinion didnt matter, then Lex Luger would have been a megastar. For that matter, Batista would have won the WWE Championship at WrestleMania XXX, instead of Daniel Bryan. In fact, it was the fans, NOT the office, who made champions of Mick Foley, Bret Hart, Chris Jericho and many others besides. Perhaps the biggest problem facing WWE in 2015 (from a creative standpoint, at least) is the companys apparent unwillingness to listen to their fans. The crowds are actually telling WWE creative, week after week; who they want to see on top, all WWE has to do is listen.
