After last year's fantastic foray into Brooklyn, NXT had their own lofty expectations to live up to for their return to the Big Apple. Even with the bar raised so high it appeared that they hit it out of the park once again. A few amazing entrances, the finale of a beloved horsewoman, and plenty of in-ring action pushed this show into a must-see event.

It's the in-ring action that's the focus of this article as the ten best spots from this TakeOver show are about to be counted down. There's a brutal lariat by Samoa Joe, a Bayley nearfall that visibly popped Becky Lynch & Sasha Banks, and a Kinshasa that might've legitimately hurt the now former NXT Champion.

10. Joe's Clubbing Lariat

Joe vs. Nakamura had plenty of brutal strikes, just like you'd expect between these two competitors. For this highlight, the King of Strong Style got sent head over heels thanks to a vicious left arm from Joe.
