10 Most Insane Wrestling Spots Of The Week (June 25)
Orton's RKO and the Beer City Bruiser destroys Jay Lethal!
Ring Of Honor wrapped up their annual Best In the World pay-per-view two nights ago, causing a huge buzz when their top title changed hands. Cody Rhodes defeated Christopher Daniels for the ROH World Championship, but the former champ made him earn that big win. The Fallen Angel slammed Cody through a table off the apron, a spot that was among the best of the week. Let's hope he's not feeling that bump in Long Beach.
Over on SmackDown, Randy Orton continued his pursuit of Jinder Mahal and his title. He attacked the WWE Champion and his two buddies after a singles match, culminating in one of Randy's best RKOs of the year. Orton must really want to push for that Punjabi Prison Match.
More Cueto Cup action happened on Lucha Underground, providing a couple of the stranger matches from the first round from the recent episode. Mascarita Sagrada found himself rag-dolled by a reptilian wrestler while Marty The Moth slammed a member of the Rabbit Tribe who matched his oddness. Both matches produced top spots, even though they're some of the sillier highlights.
So what moves were the best of the best this week?
10. Bray Should've Seen That Coming
Bray Wyatt's entrance is cool, but he does take quite a long time to stroll to the ring carrying his electric lantern that somehow still blows out. Seth Rollins put some of his Architect brain power to good use on Raw when used the shadowy advantage to climb to the top rope and wait for an attack.
When the lights finally came back on for The Eater of Worlds, Seth Rollins took to the air for a flying crossbody. Why haven't wrestlers been doing this all along? For all of the future Bray rivals, you've been shown a pretty cool trick.
