3. Nikki Wins The Divas Championship (Raw; April 23, 2012)
What you do for one, you must do for the other, right? On April 23, 2012, Nikki Bella joined her sister Brie in the history books when she defeated the great Beth Phoenix in a Lumberjill match. The contest was marred by outside interference by the Divas surrounding the ring. That interference kept Phoenix off her game and made her prone to a rollup from Nikki, who pinned her powerful opponent's shoulders to the mat for the three count. The win was a major upset, especially when taking into account the impressive resume the Glamazon had built for herself in the five years preceding the bout. Nikki was, by no means, Beth's equal but she utilized great wherewithal to score the win when the opportunity presented itself. Unfortunately, Nikki would not even be in the ring when she lost the title to Layla just one week later. Twin magic had backfired tremendously as Brie was pinned by Layla. After years of frustrating, confusing and infuriating their fellow Divas with their tricks, it was a fitting way for the sisters to suffer a fall from grace in what turned out to be one of the final appearances of their first stint with the company.
