10 Most Memorable WWE Jobbers

By David Oxford /

9. S.D. Jones

S.D., or "Special Delivery" Jones, was another face from the World Wrestling Federation of the 80s who fits the description of a jobber, though of a higher caliber than Los Conquistadors and from an earlier point in the decade. Jones was what one might consider a "high level" jobber, in that he would give heels a rough time, but would ultimately be looking up at the lights by the end of the match. Of course, his loss to King Kong Bundy in mere minutes might argue otherwise. Even so, he did pull out the occasional win and partnered with Tony Atlas, who together would win a 1982 battle royal before flipping a coin to determine the winner. Atlas won the toss.Jones did see his share of successes, primarily as a tag team wrestler in the NWA and Universal Superstars of America organizations, where he won a combined four tag team titles.
