The inclusion of this move may seem like heresy to fans of the man, but it's important to note that elaborate doesn't necessarily mean bad. It's simply true that Shawn Michaels didn't need to stomp the mat several times before cracking enemies with his patented Sweet Chin Music super kick and (more often than not) winning matches.

Again, this was an exercise in theatrics, with Michaels taking every opportunity to get fans amped up for the move. Meanwhile, opponents staggered and struggled like they'd just been pulled from a car wreck, and had to wander aimlessly into Shawn's foot without putting up a fight.

All that stamping wasn't crucial to the move, and the best Sweet Chin Music moments actually came when Michaels himself was reeling and delivered it as a last gasp attempt to buy some time.
