5. Could Have Had A Full-Time Acting Career

Story: Ask pretty much anybody who knows him, and the same trait keeps cropping up about The Big Show. According to many, the guy has a tremendous sense of humour, and it's easy to see his relaxed personality come to the fore during various media appearances. Appearing in Adam Sandler's 'Waterboy' movie in the mid-90's, Big Show also starred in his own WWE project, 'Knucklehead'. The latter movie tanked at the box office, just like pretty much every other WWE film released, but that was no fault of Show, who delivered a likeable performance in the leading role. The big man has also appeared in 'Jingle All The Way' alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, and there used to be a rumour that he was set to abandon wrestling altogether, instead carving a niche for himself in the film industry. A lot of this stems from the guy's personality, which probably took a whole load of people by surprise. Why People Believe It: There's every chance that The Big Show made friends during his movie appearances with some pretty big names, Adam Sandler being one. A fair few folks were taken aback by how well the man performed during his appearances on the big screen, but is there any truth to the idea of him abandoning wrestling? Should We Believe It: No, otherwise it probably would have happened. It seems unlikely that The Big Show would choose pro wrestling over the movie industry, because it'd be far less punishing on his huge frame.
