10 Most Over Wrestlers On WWE Monday Night Raw Right Now

2. AJ Styles

Though not exactly an unlikely candidate for a mega-pop from the returning throngs, AJ Styles wasn't particularly at the height of his powers in WWE ahead of a Money In The Bank match alongside Omos against The Viking Raiders.

You wouldn't know it watching with the sound on that night. Or, for that matter, in the weeks that have followed.

'The Phenomenal One' - and his skills aren't any less sharp, which should and does count for a lot - has been one of the returning heroes of he post-pandemic era for WWE, making it all the more disappointing that they haven't leaned in and gone ahead with a babyface turn.

It seems as though Omos and Styles will stay heels in order to facilitate a title defence against RKBro at SummerSlam. All fine, fundamentally, but this wouldn't be a problem if the company could - gasp - tell two tag team stories at the same time. Perhaps, following the 'Biggest Party Of The Summer', the fans can have their permission slip to cheer them in a manner that doesn't accidentally derail the match.
