3. Luger Slams Yokozuna

After Yokozuna destroyed Hogan at King of the Ring '93, the WWE Champion claimed to have conquered America. Without its hero around anymore, who could possibly overpower the nearly 600-pound Japanese mammoth? Pouring Fuji’s salt in the wound, Yokozuna issued a bodyslam challenge on the Fourth of July on the deck of the USS Intrepid.

Several WWE Superstars attempted to lift the behemoth, including Crush and Randy Savage, but they all failed. Then a helicopter landed on the aircraft carrier and Lex Luger emerged. Formerly the Narcissist, Luger was now decked out in red, white and blue, accepting Yokozuna’s challenge. To this day, the debate rages on whether it was a bodyslam or hip toss, but the fact remains that Luger did America proud by toppling the foreign monster.
