10 Most Powerful Items In The WWE Universe
10. William Regal's Brass Knuckles
It's often glossed over just how much of a career renaissance William Regal experienced from the year 2000 onwards. During his revamped heel run, Regal began using a simple set of brass knuckles during his matches. Usually, the weapon was concealed in his trunks, enabling the Englishman to retrieve them when the referee wasn't looking.
Credit must be given to Regal for taking such a rudimentary idea and making it work tenfold. Known as the 'Power Of The Punch', the villain even hilariously claimed that his fist was just deadly enough to knock any man out cold. Of course, he dismissed notions that he was using the knuckles, despite how obvious it was.
At the 2002 Royal Rumble, the knuckle dusters even helped Regal defeat Edge for the WWF Intercontinental Title. Throughout the years, the item would be used to win countless matches. In addition to the original set, Regal would often keep a backup pair hidden from his rivals.
If the man were to come out of retirement for another run now, those knuckles would come with him. That's how noteworthy they became.
