10 Most Ridiculous Wrestling Finishing Moves Ever

2. The Worm

At number 2, we have The Worm, a move pioneered by Scotty 2 Hotty, a fine light heavyweight wrestler who teamed with Jerry Lawler€™s son Brian Christopher, AKA €˜Grandmaster Sexay€™. €˜Too Cool€™, as the team was known, were insanely over in early 2000€™s WWE. In fact, it€™s actually amazing just how over they really were. The centrepiece of any Too Cool bout (unless they teamed with Rikishi and he used the Stink Face, of course) was The Worm. Scotty would slam his opponent and then stand over his vanquished foe with a look on his face that was pitched somewhere between being desperate for the toilet and being interrupted halfway through a really good orgasm. He would then hold his arms out and jog on the spot, before hopping on one leg, as the crowd spelled-out €œW O R M€.
Scotty would then do €˜the worm€™, the dance craze that had nightclubbers rolling around on beer-soaked floors up and down the US at the time. Then, having successfully performed the move, he would rock his arms together like a monkey, go €œOooh, ooh, ooh!€ and hit the target with a chop to the throat. Yes, a throat chop. All that, just to do a throat chop. Still, that thing was as over as anything ever has been in wrestling €“ and God bless you Scotty for thinking of it, you mad, mad b**tard.
