What a year for ridiculous action figure releases! Every year, WWE's partnership with toy giant Mattel results in a number of incredibly detailed and articulate action figures that are sold all over the world. Whether the toys are played with by children to recreate their favorite matches or collected by adults for the purposes of display and decoration, Mattel's action figures have come to represent the best depiction of WWE superstars in toy form. As great of a job as Mattel has done with the WWE license since obtaining it in 2010, there have been some occasional hiccups and not all of their releases have always been spot-on. In fact, 2015 featured the debut of a new line of action figures that is sure to capture the attention of fans for all the wrong reasons...
10. Create-A-Superstar Roman Reigns

The Create-A-Superstar line was first released in 2015 and as will become clear, it was a doozy. The series featured some of the biggest superstars currently in WWE and some additional body parts and accessories in which collectors can mix and match the various figures from this line to create their own customized looks. The series departed from the Elite or Basic style of Mattel's WWE works and focused more on exaggerated, superhuman characterizations of WWE superstars. Roman Reigns is one of the newest additions to the Create-A-Superstar line and shoppers that see this toy hanging from a peg at their local Wal-Mart would probably think he is more robot than wrestler. The Robocop-style theme of Reigns' action figure gives the toy a laughable presentation. Knowing the position that the newly-crowned WWE Champion will likely be put in over the coming years, this figure accurately depicts the character as top WWE officials see him as, i.e. an unstoppable machine. Accurate in presentation or not, the figure is still a ludicrous portrayal of the current WWE Champion. For all its silliness, the new Create-A-Superstar line is certainly an outside-the-box approach to WWE figures, but it's not the last time we will see an entry from this series on the list.
