2. The "Higher Power"

Vince McMahon was all over the WWE product in 1999, winning the Royal Rumble at the start of hte year before becoming the company's oldest ever world champion in September.

So it really shouldn't have come as too big a surprise when the chairman of the board revealed himself as the Corporate Ministry's "Higher Power" in one of the Attitude Era's most memorable moments in June of that year.

And yet it kind of was - primarily because it meant McMahon aligning himself with men who had spent the better part of the year trying to kidnap and then ritually sacrifice his own daughter, Stephanie.

Sometimes you wonder whether the WWE writers really plan everything out, or simply make decisions like this one on the fly. Whatever the case, "It was me Austin! It was me all along!" remains one of the chairman's finest moments.
