When WWE announced that they were bringing Tough Enough back for airing in June, it excited the WWE Universe because we know what we're going to get with Tough Enough. It's a reality TV show that is a competition where one or more people will earn WWE contracts. In the upcoming sixth season of Tough Enough, it was announced that one male and one female will be given WWE contracts. Any reality TV show is questionable in terms of what's real and what's fabricated. We all know that. However, there's something cool about Tough Enough because we get to see these guys and girls put their bodies on the line during their training to be WWE superstars. We will get to see them taking bumps in the ring to see who has what it takes while also seeing who might quit when the pressure is on. The first three seasons of Tough Enough aired on MTV from 2001-03, then fourth season was a part of the Smackdown brand in 2004 and the fifth season took place on USA Network in 2011 with the Hall of Famer Steve Austin in the role as the host. We don't know who the new host will be, but it will apparently not be Austin. Those of us that have watched Tough Enough know that just because somebody wins a season doesn't mean they are going to have a successful career. Some of the winners had such short careers that we can barely remember who they are or why they were winners. In fact, the first four winners (Maven, Nidia, Linda and Jackie) all had short careers in wrestling, so they're not among the best former Tough Enough contestants. Who are? Let's figure that out. It's time to look back at WWE's five seasons of Tough Enough look back at the most successful alumni from WWE's original reality show.
