For the first time since The Rockers, WWE had a team as explosive, dynamic and exciting as Marty Jannetty and Shawn Michaels were in the late-1980s and early-1990s. Brian Kendrick and Paul London brought to a mediocre tag division an act that not only excelled between the ropes but made tag team wrestling must-see television for the first time in years. There was an energy surrounding their team that others simply wish they could exude. The strongest part of their entire act was the quality of the matches they participated in. Whether they were working an equally as talented team such as MNM or a greener, more inexperienced duo like Deuce and Domino, Kendrick and London were able to get the absolute best out of their opponents. At a time when SmackDown was considered the wrestling show of WWE, it was the consistency of the tag team that helped establish them as one of the top acts on the brand. They held the tag titles for nearly a year, further cementing that reputation.
