Next on our list we have one of the most barbaric weapons in WWE history. Even within the confines of professional wrestling, the involvement of a sledgehammer is perhaps a little too testing of our suspension of disbelief. But despite that, we did indeed see a sledgehammer match take place at TLC 2011 when Triple H faced his former friend Kevin Nash. Here, the stipulation was a slightly convoluted onethis wasnt simply a match in which sledgehammers were legal; it was in fact a sledgehammer ladder match, whereby the sledgehammer would only come into play once retrieved from above the ring by one of the competitors. They dont make it easy, do they? Unsurprisingly, one of the competitors did manage to seize the sledgehammerTriple H unhooking the object before beating down Nash to pick up the win. As easy as it is to poke fun at this stipulation though, I remember getting pretty invested in this match. Though admittedly Im a sucker for Two Sweets and Suck Its. And yes, I realise that sounds weird, even within the context of professional wrestling.
