7. Bret Hart Doesn't Rate Triple H Too Highly

In an interview with WrestleTalk TV Extra in 2013, Bret Hart was asked to give his thoughts on Triple H's Hell In A Cell match with the Undertaker at WrestleMania XXVIII.

It was, subjectively, a fantastic match. It soared with a heart-pounding drama that subverted what everybody rationally knew of the result. Mostly. With Triple H being Triple H, there was a meta drop of doubt stemming from his fondness of "f*cking going over," and that drop evolved into a wave when Shawn Michaels super-kicked 'Taker into the Pedigree. It was blow-away great.

Bret did not agree. He rated it, hilariously, a "4 out of 10".

Was there are more perfect mark than "4"?

6 might have worked. "Just barely above average" would have stung with its casual dismissal, but Bret really wanted to insult the man. 5 would have been too bland, too easy. Anything down from 3 sees HHH compared to the worst of the worst, your Bastion Boogers and early 2002 Undertaker's, and just wouldn't have worked in the same way. "4" was specifically perfect in a way "5" wasn't.

Hart expressed that Triple H was so dull that he struggled even for competent mediocrity.
