10 Most Violent AEW Wrestling Matches So Far
10. The Young Bucks Vs. The Lucha Bros (Escalera De La Muerte)
Tag wrestling is one of AEW's strongest points, and The Young Bucks and The Lucha Bros' All Out showdown from last year was one of the more barbaric Ladder Matches in recent wrestling history.
In a match titled 'Escalera de la Muerte' that was contested for the AAA World Tag Team Championships, the four combatants elected to perform more thought-out spots during their bout, as opposed to merely chucking each other into ladders. A nice addition to this match was the number of times the teams performed the same move at the same time. Dual frog splashes off of ladders through tables at ringside made for a delightful visual.
We can't be forgetting about that nasty bump Nick Jackson took towards the end of the bout, of course - thankfully it wasn't anything serious, but it was a brutal watch regardless.
Destroyers off ladders through tables, superkicks galore, tactical dives to ringside, the match had it all. It may not have been as gory as some of the other matches you'll find on the remainder of this list, but it still has its rightful spot here regardless.
