10 Most Wildly Offensive Wrestler Names Ever

By Andrew Soucek /

9. Little Bastard

The term €œbastard€ refers to someone who was born to parents who aren€™t married. It€™s an offensive term, and rarely used these days. So it was surprising that WWE decided to name a leprechaun character Little Bastard upon his debut in the company. Now known as Hornswoggle, Little Bastard used to wreak havoc on Finlay€™s opponents. He lived under the ring, and couldn€™t speak a word of English€or any other language. Basically, it was beyond terrible in every conceivable way. It was one of those gimmicks that made you question why you watch wrestling. Mr. Bastard was used for comedy segments that weren€™t in the least funny, but happened anyway. He was eventually revealed to be the son of Vince McMahon in the year€™s biggest letdown. Then he wasn€™t, and we found out he was Finlay€™s son. Did Finlay have a wife when Hornswoggle was conceived? I don€™t know, and that€™s not really anyone's business, but still referring to him as a Little Bastard just seems cruel no matter what. Couldn€™t Finlay have just given him a new name? That just seems rude to name your own son Little Bastard.
