Oooooh boy, WWE ruffled a lot of feathers with that finish to Clash At The Castle.

Glasgow's crowd walked into the cold night time air with rage you'd expect to see after Scotland's 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Germany, but...they'll get over it, and quickly. After all, wrestling is just one big story. The wheel keeps turning, and all that. Besides, Triple H has a mega match on his hands that's begging to become a blockbuster 2-3 bout series.

CM Punk is public enemy number one locally after screwing Drew McIntyre out of a seemingly surefire World Heavyweight Title win vs. Damian Priest. Though many were unhappy with that, they'll still enjoy what's coming next. Besides, the result on Saturday all-but-guarantees that WWE will run another (even bigger) PLE in the country.

Any emerging chatter that Trips "killed the territory" with that conclusion should be laughed at. Since when did pro wrestling fans get absolutely everything they want 100% of the time?! That isn't how this works, and nor should it. Coming out of Clash, there are so many enticing directions booking can go. That's a positive.

New champs, bloodthirsty revenge, fresh Money In The Bank winners, popular turns and more - WWE has everyone on tenterhooks again...

10. Bayley Moving Onto A Lengthier Feud

Everyone knew Piper Niven's challenge was a local one-off deal, so it’s unlikely Bayley’s story with her will continue beyond Clash. Further, Piper and Chelsea Green could split eventually as a side story, but there's a bigger quest at play: Bayley badly needs something meatier to sink her teeth into.

She's needed that since WrestleMania, to be honest.

Bayley isn't Cody Rhodes. In other words, if this string of one-off challenges persists, then she might even start to hear scattered boos during her promos/matches. That's something WWE should look to avoid at all costs. How do they do that? Give the champ a lengthier story to work with.

Surely Bayley deserves that. Thankfully, Nia Jax is right there and waiting for this sort of thing. She won Queen Of The Ring, so bagged herself a title match at SummerSlam. Triple H's creative team should just get the ball rolling on that ASAP rather than waste time at Money In The Bank with yet another one-off.
