6. The Miz Tying Chris Jericho's Intercontinental Record

Listen carefully and you can almost hear Tom Phillips say Chris Jericho's name on commentary. The loudest words (Miz would tie Jericho in the record books if he won the Intercontinental Title again) are going unspoken in The Miz's quest to become a nine time WWE IC Champion. Oh how WWE must want to brag about that.

They can't, not unless they want young kids to go Google hunting for AEW's new champion.

It's bound to happen eventually however. Shinsuke Nakamura, who has been bolstered by joining up with Sami Zayn, is a paper champ at best. He's not the permanent solution WWE want with the secondary belt, and that's why Miz will have his record-tying victory sometime soon. It might even happen at Hell In A Cell.

Everything, from Miz almost beating Shin at Clash only for Sami to ruin it and all that endless harping from the announcers about "nine times", "nine times", "nine times", gives the game away. The Miz is your next IC Champ, and he'll soon enjoy a little bit of the bubbly himself.
