The man's haters got their wish: Roman Reigns, WWE's hand-picked pet project for this generation, isn't Universal Champ and he didn't end WrestleMania covered in confetti.

He ended it covered in his own blood and wearing a desperate, almost cold expression on his face as he scanned the SuperDome masses. Does this hint that something fresh is in Roman's future? Possibly, and it might be the catalyst for a change WWE have shied away from over the past couple of years.

On a night when neither World Title changed hands, the company still readied themselves for the usual post-WrestleMania lull in overall fan interest by setting up some intriguing scenarios; established characters like Reigns, Shinsuke Nakamura, The Miz and even The Undertaker could be/are about to undergo a transformation.
