10 New Raw Matches Made Possible By WWE's Superstar Shakeup

Is 2018 finally the year we see KO vs. Brock Lesnar on pay-per-view?

The most exciting names WWE shifted during the first night of their latest Superstar Shakeup were Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Drew McIntyre. Elsewhere, Jinder Mahal, Baron Corbin, Bobby Roode and Natalya were all decent moves, if only because most were dying a slow death over on SmackDown.

Put it this way: Natalya went from losing a nothing match against Naomi last Tuesday night to beating Mandy Rose and rubbing shoulders with Ronda Rousey. Even though there's a good chance Nattie will be moved onto other things next week, that's still a significant enough upgrade to her status in WWE.

Natalya, however, is hardly a big enough name to wrestle Rousey in a proper full-blown feud, but there is someone else she'd would work wonders with on Monday nights. That's if Raw's writers are ready to book it.

The most obvious benefit to WWE moving stars between both major brands is that Raw now has some fresh matches that can help ease the typical post-WrestleMania slump. Though not all of them deserve top billing, they'll surely all happen between now and SummerSlam...
