This isnt the first time weve seen a wrestler with a narcissist gimmick, and it wont be the last time either. However, one positive thing about Tyler Breeze is that hes perhaps the first to take the narcissist gimmick and merge it with the world of social media. In a world where people insist of taking pictures of themselves everywhere they go, Tyler is the epitome of egocentric. When he walks down to the ring, hes always looking down at his smartphone just so he can look at his own reflection on the camera. While Tyler has been doing a great job with this gimmick so far, its tough to picture him maintaining the gimmick for years to come, especially after he finally makes the inevitable jump to the main roster. His parody on the 21st century tweens and teens of the world is fine for a one hour developmental show, but eventually the gimmick is going to be worn out and be dated. He can still love himself of course, but Tylers gimmick is going to need a slight retooling once he gets added to the main roster. The last time a guy tried to incorporate social media into his gimmick was Zack Ryder, and lets just say that hasnt worked out too well for him these days.
