If theres one attribute that Dillinger possesses that WWEs management might like, its that he definitely looks like one of their wrestlers. But other than that, Dillinger has many things working against him that will prevent him from ever reaching the main WWE roster. First, theres his past experience with WWE. He signed with WWE in 2006, and spent over three years working his way through WWEs developmental system. First there was Ohio Valley Wrestling, then there was Florida Championship Wrestling, and then there was Extreme Championship Wrestling. He went through all of these promotions and brands, yet failed to set the world on fire. As if that wasnt enough, his current run in NXT hasnt led to anything particularly interesting. Outclassed by many more well-known and accomplished independent wrestlers, Dillinger has simply failed to stand out. He doesnt have a unique feature that draws the crowd to him, and has spent most of his NXT career as a tag team wrestler who changes partners à la Charlie Haas. Dillinger is 34 years old and is on the lower end of the NXT card. Unless hes given a monstrous push in the near future, its highly unlikely that hell even see the NXT World Title picture, much less the main event roster.
